Thumbs up help emergency medical services

I have been in emergency medical services for over 6 years and as a bberry addict it crossed my mind that it might be a good idea for bberry users to file a list of medications and a significant medical history to assist in the treatent and care of you and close family members in case of emergency. some ideas i guess are to use the memo pad or owner option. does this sound like a good idea and does anyone have any ideas how this could be better accomplished.

This sounds like a good idea. What I would reccomend is to make a memo titled I.C.E (in case of emergency). You can list this info there. I am not sure how you would go about making it so people can find it. I know there was a thing in the news that said to start puting ICE next to close contacts like significat other, parents, siblings etc. Maybe you can do the same and put a copy of that memo in their notes?

It would only work in the owner section as most people lock their BB's. Not a bad idea though.

Perhaps one of the developers on here could write a simple program that would contain all this info. Just to sort of 'give it its own icon'. And perhaps tie it in to if the the phone ever dials 911, it opens automatically. Not a bad idea at all.

... Or maybe a program like this already exists? I'm not sure.
