    Yep, I remember a while back, I had the same problem. A security wipe was the only thing that removed the icon. Back up and wipe, then restore from the back up. As far as I know, thats the only thing that worked.

    Thanks. Seems like a security wipe may be easier than an upgrade OS.
    Which should I do ??
    How do you do a security wipe ?
    Back up I know, but then how do you wipe it ?

    In your phone go to options, security options,there should be an option to do a security wipe there

    I am sitting on the edge of my seat to see how this one turns out! My suggestion would have been to simply call your handheld from your landline, and don't answer - and then go into messages, delete the call and it would disappear. But you already went through that process with voicemail a couple of posts ago. The wipe should work - Go to Security Options, General Settings, and then when you're on that screen click the menu and Wipe Handheld will be an option. Be sure to do a backup first!!
