    Any time you fall below EDGE (to edge, GPRS, gprs... ) and it is persistent/not fixed by a battery pull, do call Customer Service and ask whether there is an issue
    in your area. They might be able to tell you, and give you an estimated time of restoration.

    It is good if everybody calls and complains when this happens. Providers are more likely to pay attention and do whatever they can from their side -- the squeaky wheel principle.
