    Gmail Unreliablity

Has anyone else noticed that Gmail messaged pushed to your blackberry is very unreliable? It takes ages for the message to get pushed and some are just lost. Is there anything we can do?

I've found Gmail to be very fast and reliable. You might want to remove and reinstall Gmail.

I have been using BIS for my gmail account (haven't logged into GMail in almost a month now that I think about it) and get my emails pretty quickly.

I'm also having issues with GMAIL lately, I'm using BIS and it used to be very reliable but has since been missing emails. I have retried sending service books multiple times and that doesn't seem to be the issue.

I just have an issue when I get a number of emails from the same sender back to back. Gmail has a habbit of sending them into the spam folder. Other than that, its been pretty darn good to me.

While normally GMail works great, I've had problems with my GMail to BB email being slow today.

Just tested it and it took 3 seconds. I have noticed no delays or missing messages.

same here, literally seconds from gmail to BB. and my incoming from other providers to my gmail arrive on my BB before then hit the gmail account.

Whenever I send a new message from my Gmail account on my BB I always get the message I just sent from my Gmail account sent into my inbox. Does anyone else have this issue as well.

Yea, just setup a filter in your BIS. I'm not sure how it works with Sprint, but with TMO we just go into our account where we setup our emails. Then set up a filter to filter out that message.

    Filter out "From" youraccount@gmail.com.

Hope this makes sense. Since I don't have sprint Im not sure about the exact steps.

Everyone integrating gmail with BIS does. Gmail doesn't have distinct inboxes, sent items, etc so mail you send will be forwarded to your BB unless you set up a filter as mentioned above.
