free minutes using wifi?
If you turn off your mobile network and just use wifi are the calling minutes free and if not is there a way to get them free?
you know i heard about this and I thought one could use skype? for it. I'm not quite sure. I know my cousin used his PSP to make calls using skype but i don't know if the same rule applies to bb's. Don't quote me on it I could be wrong. I'm just a theme expert lol
What's the matter? CIA's got you pushing too many pencils?
i called tmo and for 10.00 you can get unlimited calls on wifi..i might have to check out this skype? or see where this thread goes..thanks for the reply so quickly
If you have Tmobile, for $10 a month (this is the same cost for individual or family plan), you can have unlimited minutes over wifi (use to be called Hotspot @HOME).
I use this feature like crazy. (about 2000 minutes a month over wifi)
I use the hotspot at home from TMO. I make most of my calls from home, so I am always on wifi and get them for free. Yay!

ditto that...i use the heck out of our home hotspot...my minute usage has plummeted...i think it's the same for any hotspot you can log into...the catch is you can't log into all of them. in my experience it seems to be about 75% though.
I've never figured the skype out as for calling from the BB. I think you can't do it over wifi so it uses minutes off your plan. So I think the only way you save with them is for overseas calls and stuff like that
yea, i guess with skype it has to be skype to skype..at least thats how i understood it..
