Be prepared to pay through the nose for data charges. You have to realize that most streaming internet radio services in at 128kbps.
However, if you're good with data charges, then it's a good idea.

Satellite Radio is a cool idea, imo, but it would be more geared towards the prosumer more than the business user side in the eyes of RIM I imagine.

Who knows? Maybe they'll add it.

    XM Radio Tuner

I would *love* to have an XM tuner built-in to my BB. XM already makes the passport - which works as a plug and play - I have it for my clock radio and love it!

I'd agree with others that the FM wouldn't be something I'd use much, although a number of XM units do use FM modulation so that the unit can work in the car.

Why? The cell phones are just little radios and "smart" phones just have a lot more functions. Practically every Nokia I've ever had had an FM tuner in it and who consistently makes a better phone than them?

2 more reasons for having an FM tuner:
1~ Announcements @ racetracks are usually broadcast (I'm talking local Karting events, Autox, drift, drag, etc.)
It would be helpful to me for sure!
2~ ever won anything on the radio like movie passes or concert tickets?
My work takes me from site to site and whenever I have to leave my work van I think back to how the radio on my old Nok6101 did me a lot of favors....

...plus, if you're a news/talk radio junkie like me rather than a "always have some tunes in my ear" person, what better idle time activity than to tune in to NPR or your favorite talk show?

Oh crap totally forgot to mention the listening to NPR! I hate when I can't finish listening to Diane grilling someone on her show...
