    Question FM Radio

    Advertisement

    Hi guys,

    I am trying to purchase a BlackBerry device which has a FM radio. Is anybody aware of such a device?
    Alternatively, do you know if you can purchase a FM receive for any BlackBerry device?

    I would greatly appreciate any help.

    Thanks.

    Stefan

    Here's what the 4 entries are/do:

    The "Parent Directory" takes you back to where your were:
    The "radioBee.cod" downloads something
    the "radioBee.cso" gives you a page with this on it:
    33000000=RIMAPPSA2
    52434300=RIM Crypto API - Certicom
    52434900=RIM Crypto API - Internal
    52435200=RIM Crypto API - RIM
    52525400=RIM Runtime API
    52424200=RIM Blackberry Apps API

    and the radioBee.cso" give you another download file.

    Do you know what to do with this stuff? Are ".cod" and ".cso" files enough
    to install this with the DM? I admit I'm somewhat inexperience with this kind
    of "here's where to go to install" instructions.
    Thanks,
    John

    for help setting up the various stations

    Stefan, there are no BB devices that have an FM receiver built in. The only way is to listen to web based radio stations using apps like radio bee, mwebplayer, dollars5 media player

    Re: FM Radio

    I gave up on all of them. My understanding is that with the GPRS support I have, at home all the time, it's just not fast enough. I was told that you need full EDGE support and it's still iffy sometimes. I quit trying and moved on. I'll just wait for BB to get the msg and install a full FM tuner in their phones like Nokia does.
