A fully functional BB in a flip style -- probably would need the SureType keyboard. I would love that!

    Re: Flip phone

Eh, I am notif that would be a market seller. But it wouldn't hurt to test it out. I wouldn't get rid of my BB for a flip if it came down to it.

Well it would be basically a Pearl snapped in half. It would probably sell well since the Pearl is directed to consumers.

But, a slider style Pearl is more useful because u could probably design the trackball to work while it is slid closed. And it wouldn't be as fragile as an ultra thin clamshell version.

T-mobile had the samsung t719. It was a samsung phone with camera video and bluetooth. It had the blackberry suretype keypad and could sync with outlook on bis and bes servers. And you could receive emails. I liked it a lot but it wasn't a big seller in my market. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ ppl who use their phones heavily will go for candy bar shaped phones. They just lasts longer in my case. The only flip phone that survived my daily use (abuse) is my old moto v60. I'll pass on any phones that flips, slides, swivel.

I think I would be open to the slider idea, but I really hate flip phones. I'd like to find something that would extend the life of the trackball so maybe the slider style could do that.

There is a Samsung on the market that has the Blackberry connect feature... I've played around with one of the Nokia's with the Blackberry Connect, but never this.

Persoanlly, I was never happy until I got the Pearl!!

I'm actually quite happy with my Pearl.. I finally got the RAZR out of my system so I'm not too keen on another flip phone..

    Re: Flip phone

First, I'd like to say that In the past I would get a new cell phone every 3 months or so until i met the pearl.....It's been a year now and we're still going steady.

On the subject, there's now way i'd touch a flip phone ever again. What you make up in design or protection (by having the main screen inside) you lost in space for the hinges. Imagine how much bigger the pearl would be if it was a flip.

A slider would grab my attention tho. If anyone has ever heard of helio? They make 2 slider pda's that are gorgeous in my opinion. But it's still not a BB
