I sed to own several Motorola phones and had several 3rd party and MOT software ... General Blackberry forum
I sed to own several Motorola phones and had several 3rd party and MOT software where I could actually go into to the phone's file system and delete anything I wanted. I was able to free up a Shi*load of memory this way. I have read all the posts on deleting certain files on the BB but how? Where would I go to pick and delete certain .cod files, etc.?
If you've installed a newer OS on your machine since you got your Berry, they'll be in the "Java" folder for the OS. If you haven't, you can use javaloader to get a directory list of the files (javaloader -usb dir > "C:\myberryfile.txt"). Then open the list, find the offending .cod file, and type (javaloader -usb erase exactfilename.cod.
That should do it.
Be sure you know what you're deleting, some modules depend on other modules.
