I really like the looks of the 8300. I like the idea of full qwerty and a cam.

I have the 8830 with Verizon but would love to have the curve. I really don't need a camera but it would be nice to have one. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

The 8800 was mine although I have the curve now because you just can't beat the weight size and the way it feels in your hands. However the best looking blackberry without a doubt is the 8800 and you'll have less problems with it~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I love my curve, but I missed the gps. I'm thinking about exchanging for the 8800 just for the gps, I'm not a camera fan. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~the best bb I've owned was the 7520. I love the feel of the unit and the fact you can read the screen in the daylight. BB is like all other companies. They change but not always for the better. If you want to take pictures, buy a camera. If you want to listen to music or watch vid's buy an Ipod. Would it be nice to have all in one, yes. But not at the cost of all that was good about the BB. I use an 8703 right now but am thinking about going back to a 7250. Sorry but that's just my 2 cents

Please see every other "which is best?" and "which should I buy?" thread out there. The answer is always the same:

    1. Determine your preference for full qwerty or SureType. Play the different models at the store.

    2. Compare features at Blackberry.com. RIM even provides a comparison tool so you can see features listed side-by-side -- make use of that feature. Core functionality of all BB's is pretty much the same. What really separates them are features such as camera, GPS, etc. You need to decide which ones are important to you.

It's like shopping for anything else...
