Does anyone know if there is any software that protects a BlackBerry device from GPS tracking, key logging, and other autonomous reporting activity to a third party. I am aware of undectetable software designed for these purposes and want to implement proactive safeguards against it. Thank you.

    Re: Encryption Security

Yea - it's called the BlackBerry OS! Some of the items you list can't be enabled without the user accepting them, and others can't be enabled by the application unless it's signed which requires registering it with RIM.

If a BlackBerry is on a BES, you can lock it down to prevent knuckleheads from installing and accepting unauthorized software. In fact, anything you can set on a BlackBerry, you can control (restrict) through the BES.

Of course none of this has anything with Encryption, which is also available on the BlackBerry for both application and SD data (although it does slow down the device).

There's no third party security software for the BlackBerry, because the device has all the security you could possibly need built in! Of course, you have to implement it for it to work!
