How to enable music (audio services) on non-media headsets?
On the way home yesterday, I was listening to a podcast via the speakerphone, and I had my motorola H350 bluetooth headset on in case the phone rang. I decided to make a voice call, and for a moment, I could hear the podcast in my headset!
However, because the H350 is not set up as a media headset, I can't make that happen on purpose. I can't seem to modify the bluetooth services for the headset to add audio a/v stuff, like for my stereo headset.
Is there a way to enable listening to music over non-media bluetooth headsets like the H350? There has to be a hack if it worked for a few seconds by accident. I did find the comment below, but not sure if I can make it work...
I've never heard of this but that would be really cool so i wouldn't have to buy an expensive stereo headset
enabling non-stereo headsets for audio
yeah, esp. if you are like me and listen to news and commentary podcasts - no need for stereo.
There a hack for the mediaplayer, but it's just that, an OS hack which seems to be looked down upon here.
