Emergency Management conference and blackberry
Well I was at an emergency management conference the last couple of days and I can tell you blackberry is truly not dead in that world. Saw maybe 3 or 4 iphones and maybe 10 regular phones. Everyone else including the military members there were using blackberries. Even the guys with the FBI were sporting blackberries.
BlackBerry will always have a high ranking in the professional world I believe anyways
Samsung Galaxy S4
Asus Nexus 7
Regardless of BB let downs in the last year, it's still the benchmark smartphone go measure up against.
Just wish rim would set a benchmark for longest battery life. In the emergency world having a phone go dead on you is not a good place to be. My old boss use to keep a broken phone in his car to charge a spare battery in so he would always have a fresh battery
BlackBerry will always hold a special place in my heart, but in my opinion, they lost the "benchmark" distinction back when the Storm and Bold 9000 first came out.

The badly put together Torch didn't help either. I kept one though, but I don't use it. The OS are antique.
If RIM wanted to maintain and hold benchmarks, they should have introduced the 9900 with QNX back in 2008,
Maybe now we would be comparing benchmarks.
