I try, but it comes back again saying that some of the information must be wrong because it still can't be validated.

I think that I used the OWA instructions to set it up, although they really all start the same. I know that I have entered my OWA web address, mailbox name, password, etc...

I'm a little lost as to why it can't be validated, and even more at a loss as to why it would have worked fine before I changed the phone to use web-based BIS, and now I can't get push from that same e-mail that was pushing literally minutes before.

I'm sure I'm not answering everything in the best way possible - I apologize, but I'm very new to the BB - definitely still learning and making progress, but a little frustrated right now...

    Thanks again!
dh, try deleting it from the BIS and starting from scratch using the non-OWA instructions.

Use steps 3, 4 and then on step 6, select the Work E-mail Address.
Choose the option "I will provide the settings....." then use the instructions to Set Up An Existing Outlook / Outlook Express Account.

Enter your user name and password (this would be what you use to log into your network at work), the URL you use to access OWA (mail.yourowa.com, or whatever), and then your full work e-mail address and click NEXT.

Let us know if that works!

FYI, do NOT type http://mail.yourOWA.com. In my case, our mail server is listed as mail.morebv.com, so that is all I entered in the email server field.

Hope this is making sense for you!

ok, I've tried doing it as noted above, not using the OWA, but rather putting it in as POP/IMAP, but that didn't work either. Still getting the same error stating that something must have been entered incorrectly and asking if I would like to try again...

Hm, well without actually watching what you're doing, we're kinda stuck here.

Perhaps you should start from scratch again and use the OWA method this time.

I've started from scratch doing both OWA and POP/IMAP (more than once each), and nothing is working. I'm going to wait and try this evening or tomorrow and see if I can try this with some fresh eyes.

Obviously, any suggestions are appreciated, and if anyone has an epiphany that will make this work for me, I'll try it immediately :-)

    dh,

It makes no sense that you had sucess once, and now the account refuses to validate . I would think if you were able to set it up using the device, all you would need is the POP instructions (email / password). If that does not work for you, go ahead and try on the device again. Lets see what happens....

Ok, so this evening I was completely frustrated and was having laptop issues connecting to work from home. Apparently my external access got locked up - I had the IT department reset it, and now I've got my work e-mail up & running on my BB.

Thank you all for your help!!!!!
