Is DOCs to go in 4.5 ? if so, anyone know where i can find it? Maybe im just blind... Also read all the horror stories of people having issues. I completed the upgrade on my VZ 8330 and it was flawless... Only had to contact my IT dept and activiate my phone again... that didnt take long... Any help on the docs to go would be appreciated. Thanks in advance..

Yes, it is in 4.5. If you have installed 4.5 and do not see it in your applications, try to use desktop manager / application loader and see if it shows up as an option to install.

I've had the same issue. Plug your phone in, start DM, select Application Loader, when it gets to the screen of selecting apps, scroll down and you should see Docs2Go. Select the box and it will install it on your phone.

You can then do an update from your phone by going into Docs2Go and checking for updates - this will give you Sheets 2 Go.

The next time you use DM to install/uninstall apps, it will make you downgrade your Docs2Go. To prevent this, go to C:/Program Files/Common Files/Research in Motion/Shared/Loader Files - select the folder for the OS that you've installed on your phone. Look for a file called DocumentsToGo, and move it to another location.

Let us know if you need any more help!

Damnit! It removed my sheets to go. I can't upgrade and get it back, because it says that my apps are already at 1.002 Any clues???

Delete docs 2 go and reinstall it. Let me know if it lets you do the update then.

Delete by phone or DM, use DM to reinstall.

This is the free version which doesn't (wink, wink)* allow you to create new documents. You can modify and edit existing documents which are saved to your phone.

*The easiest way to get around the creating of documents is to open a saved file and just clear all text and save the blank to use as a template for later use.
