Don't think RIM has a Registry. That is only a Windows thing.

However, there is a program to allow you to really wipe the BB and start all over, Jl_cmdr. I have never used it, so I can't say one way or another about its effectiveness or ease of use. I suggest a quick search should turn up some good info for you.

Perhaps one of the resident experts can chip in with more info.

I got that app, have used some of the utilities, I'm a little hesitant to "wipe" all my data though.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~you can probably use the desktop manager to backup your bb, and then do a wipe and reload what you want back on... Your bb has a built in wipe function. No need to purchase a wipe utility.

why do you need to 'clean'? what makes you think you need a registry cleaner? what sort of problem(s) are you having with your 8100?

i don't recommend registry cleaners. they can do more harm than good. if need be, there are ways of manually cleaning up crap in your registry, but they're a bit tricky. you kinda hafta know what you're looking for first, kinda.

The only thing you really need to do is the Old Battery Pull. This will free up all the un-released garbage memory. Remember the BlackBerry is a Java Virtual Machine based device and isn't like a Windows PC.
