    OK, bypass C/S and ask for the Loyalty Department. That is who I always go through.

    If you didn't ask for the Loyalty Dept, then your not talking to them. C/S is always the first ones you talk to.

    Ok, will try that. I did sign up for a new 2 yr contract last Feb and got a blackberry pearl. I dont know if maybe thats why they wont let me - maybe too soon.

    Try looking on craigslist. My husband lucked up and got me one for $300 new sealed in the box. It's not cheap but it's not
    $499 which is the full retail price.
