I set up blackberry redirection but it doesnt set up as its own folder on my bb is there a way to do that rather than it going only to my messages (i have already separated emails and sms in the options).

This is what I use: Empower BES Mailbox

This application separates your BES email from all other email. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it.

That's a possible cause. I've never used redirector. Why do use redirector instead of letting the BES forward the emails?

Oh well my apologies, You posted this under the "BES Admins & Professionals" thread so I thought you were using BES. That is why the program I linked you too isn't working. It's meant for BES users.

Let's try this: Have you confirmed the mailbox you are wanting isn't hidden? You can also change your theme because even if you change the options to separate, it is also controlled by your theme.

Yes, show all icons. Did you change your theme and confirm your theme was not preventing you from separating emails and texts?

That's probably your best bet. In my experience, desktop redirector was only used by those who wanted their personal outlook account emails sent to their Blackberrys. But it's an involved process from start to finish because the desktop manager has to be set up for redirection and not BIS. Setting up your account on the BIS is much easier (and much easier to troubleshoot, lol).
