What happens to deleting a contact from your list, will I stay on their contact list? Or it automatically deletes?

Welcome to the stacks mobreezy. It is supposed to delete on both sides. But if they have your pin saved in the address book they could always retry to set it up? Hope this helps . . . and feel free tp PM me with any other Q:s

It will generally be removed from the list on both devices.

But, if they have backed up their device while you were on their list, they can re-add you via the back-up.

If device transfer successful using DM, then yes.

Using DM to restore is the best bet to getting anything back

Something must have gone wrong with the back-up file then. I just recently deleted BBM from my device because it was acting weird, wouldn't let me add contacts. I didn't do a backup just before deleting it just in case there was something corrupt. So after deleting and re-installing I was able to restore my full contact list from a previous back-up. Also when I switched devices from the pearl to the curve and when I upgraded my OS, on all occasions my BBM list remained intact.

That's one gotcha with BB Messenger - you can restore from a backup. Other than that, it's controlled via concent (no-one can add you without your approval).

Mind you - if you message one of them and they don't have you...all they have to do is add you and delete you and BAM, they're gone from your list again

    HELP

I'm trying to add a person back to my BBM after deleting them, and he gets my invite and everything and accepts it but there isn't any sort of confirmation which allows us to be on eachothers contact list. What does that mean? I mean we've deleted the requests several times and both of us have sent a request and it isn't working...:E
