Every Motorola product I have ever owned has always disappointed, BB has never failed me. The choice is clear.

I agree with 100%. I have sworn at Motorola products more than I care to say. I detest their software. I spent hours trying to put music on my daughter's Razr V3T that the phone would actually play. To me there is nothing as good as a BlackBerry.

Not to disappoint you, but I'm not old.....

    However I am a past Moto-Q user......
I'm also a hard core phone / BlackBerry addict. I've had few Q's and several other Windows Mobile OS phones. While initially they were a bit of fun, after the newness wore off and the constant freezing, hanging and other bugs large and small became the norm. I was ready to get out. My prior smart phones also included Treos' so the only phone I had not tried was a BlackBerry. Now after several BlackBerry's I'm one of their biggest advocates. The difference is simply stunning. I have never experienced such a terrific device that is not only fast and fun to use, but also incredibly reliable and useful.

The additional advantage of the BlackBerry platform is the choices you have in terms of models, form factors, colors, etc. There is no such thing as the "best" BlackBerry as designated by another person. However there is indeed a "best" BlackBerry and that's the one that YOU choose. As they're all good, it's simply a matter of personal preference.

Welcome to the Forum and to the place I like to call BlackBerryLand....

I agree with a lot of what archer6 said... I'm a previous MotoQ user and I have to say that this phone is unbelievably reliable. I don't have to constantly stay on top of how many apps I'm running and all apps close gracefully. I don't have to "kill" all other apps that were previously being used, in fear that the device would lock up at some random moment.

The only con that I have is that I miss the "Automatic" profile option. Although I'm pretty sure that there's an app out there somewhere that has the capability to set this up, I'm probably too spanking new to the BB world and haven't checked under each and every rock out there.

I'm definitely a BB enthusiast right now with my Curve...

BTW... Jeff, what's your verdict on the Curve?

I bought the Q as soon as it was launched with US Cellular, after two months I gave it up and waited for the pearl to launch. I will never go back to a wm device.

I remember when I wanted the Q. Just that I didn't want to leave T-Mobile. I don't know how the Q is, but the Curve is one great phone. I'm satisfied with the Curve.
