    Contacts to SIM??

    Im Bad at storing my contacts to my sim. Is there any way to just take them all in 1 swoop and transfer them to the sim or does it have to be done by hand. .1 ..... by 1......... .. . by 1?

    One by one until someone makes or finds a third party tool to do this

    or you can always back in up on your computer and you never have to worry about losing them if you were to break your phone

    Blackberries won't allow for mass copies to the sim because of the variability and ranges of the address book information. There is very little size or content limit to the fields throughout the address book, whereas a sim has limitations. A small example - on a Berry, first and last name are two separate fields, and on a sim there is only one name field.

    Additionally, Blackberries are designed to be secure and sim cards are not, other than their little PIN number. The CIA and some corporations probably don't (or didn't) want it easy to copy sensitive information to the insecure sim - - -

    Well lastnight i went through and sent all 186 contacts to my sim card what a pain. someone needs to come up with a program that puts the mimics the phonebook to the sim when you add them .
