Thanks Reem, this trick works on the 7290 as well.
I'm sure you guys might know but I haven't seen this on the tips guides. But if you want to get ALL CAPS all you have to do (at least on the 8700g) just hold the key for 2 seconds. It will go from lower case to upper case. Hopes this helps the newbies save a key stroke. Peace
Reem, are you talking about turning a lower case key to upper case. Yes holding an individual letter longer than normal will do it for individual letters. If you want ALL CAPS, press the ALT key prior to pressing the CAP key. This turns on Caps Lock. When you're done with All caps press the CAP again to return to normal. Additionally, rolling the trackwheel while pressing a key will scroll through all the available letters for that key.
Hope this helps
i dont think it possible, but thought id ask anyway...
anybody figure a way out to turn the AutoCap off?!?
whoa thanks.. I didn't know that!
It works on all BB's (ok i hate Sure Type so that might interfere i don't know and don't care)
thanks for the tip - good to know
DO OR DO NOT THERE IS NO TRY
I'm so used to typing on my BB, that I sometimes try to do that lil trick on my PC. Can you say addicted?
