alright guys...this is my second go at this question...I hope to get some better answers this time. I am looking for a free or cheap program which will allow me to enter and back up my calendar and contacts via syncing to my computer. Currently I do not have MS Outlook or any other programs....I am more than open to suggestions for other programs...and costs.....

    THanks everyone....

    Re: Calendar Sync Question

Well you have the choice of easy to use options on the organizers listed in the BlackBerry documentation for the desktop manager and also import/export to an character separated ascii file for transfer to other applications.

You can find the list of compatible organizers in the requirements links listed on this page, BlackBerry Desktop Software.

What is it that you want?

No Outlook? Try Outlook Express. Same procedure. Free.

    Re: Calendar Sync Question

I'd recommend using Outlook. It syncs very well with the BB/Desktop Manager. Additionally, should you decide to change platforms down the road just about everything out there syncs with Outlook. You should be able to find a copy for cheap if you don't already have it -- even if you're a poor student (check with your university).

    Re: Calendar Sync Question

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i am wanting to be able to enter my work schedule for the whole month and edit other appointments as I go... I do not have Outlook and am not sure as where to look for a cheap version. I would not be using it for email, only for calendar sync and contacs... Thus why I want to be cheap
