    Calendar sync???

Hey guys, don't know if this anyone has asked this yet, but my wife just talked me into getting her a BB 9300. I already have my phone (9000) synced to my outlook on my PC. Hers will be backed up on my computer but not synced at all.

My question is, how can I wirelessly sync our calendars on our phone so we can keep everything the same on both phone's calendars.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!

In order to have the same calendar with Outlook, she would have to have the associated e-mail address on her device and set it as the default for syncing.

There are probably other methods you could use, perhaps with Google, but I am not familiar enough with that to make any recommendation.

I was hoping to avoid syncing with the same email address thru outlook. I am looking for some kind of wireless sync so it is easy for her. Just add in calendar and it shows up in mine, I add and it shows up in hers. Does google have something that will do that?

I think they do, but again, it might require having the same e-mail address.

I don't mind having the same email for gmail if that will make it work. I just didn't want her syncing with my computer at home and screwing it all up. She isn't the most tech savy person in the world.

LOL! I know how you feel. My wife is technically challenged as well.

Yes, look into the Google apps and I think that will give you what you're looking for.

Hey Roger, I got this working by sharing both our calendars and using google sync. Works like a charm, isn't instantanious but within a couple of hours shows up on the others calendar without doing anything extra. To go along with this I downloaded ourgroceries off of app world and it syncs grocery lists with the phones as well. Or any other store you want to add to the program, it works slick.

Thanks frisco for sharing your solution! I never fail to be amazed at Google -- I use Gmail on IMAP / Exchange settings with the iPhone and it is great!

Ok, new problem, I got the 9800 and now they won't sync like before, I get an error. "Another sync client has been adding events to the Blackberry Calendar. To avoid duplicates Google Sync will not keep these events up to date."
How do I bypass this and make it work. My calendar won't upload to google from my phone but will pull from google to my phone.

    HELP!!!
