I am getting messages telling me: ..."You will soon exceed your email storage capacity. In order to send or receive new email, you will have to delete some messages." I have tried to delete the messages but nothing seems to work. I have perment deletion enabled and reconcile regularly. I have no idea what's going on. Also BWC says i have 289 unread messages but in reality they are all read....??? |

Howdy tweber78, I've looked into this all day, I didn't find much info. But before using your WC, did you already have emails stored in your BB? Maybe you can start fresh, delete everything you don't need and re-enable permanent deletion of messages on BBIS when messages are deleted from the handheld. I'll continue to look for more answers. Happy Thanksgiving tweber78!~ gobble gobble!~ |

Login to your blackberry web client (BIS) and under folder options, click 'manage folders'. Select inbox and set Auto delete folder to a lower value (e.g. 1 day :]) you can change the sent folder etc also. You can also limit the number of messages you receive on the BlackBerry handheld by using the filters feature that monitors key words and message fields. Also added this for you: http://www.pinstack.com/blackberryfa...177&artlang=en Last edited by hayden; 11-24-2005 at 09:34 PM. |

Thanks guys, The crazy thing is that I have tried all of these things all day. My unread messages number is 266 although I have no unread messages. The "empty deleted items" link does not seem to work at all. It's very strange.

So, it turns out that it has to do with my Firefox browser. Firefox is not 100% compatiable with the BWC. Delte button grayed out etc... I checked it out with IE and everything work just fine. Took care of the problem in like 20 secs.
