    Re: Blackberry While Driving?

I have made it a rule for myself to never answer a message or talk to anyone re work when I am in the car. This accompishes two things: first, safety and second, allows for some disconnect and time to "relax" while driving. Matter of fact the only person I will answer a call from in the car is my girlfriend.

I used to drive an hour to work and I know then it was a lot harder to stay off the phone and to not send messages.

I only talk on it. I checked "hands free" option because I'm using speaker phone (though I don't have a handsfree or bluetooth... yet anyway.)

I have three long lights and that is when I send quick messages. Otherwise I am handsfree...

You all are lucky in the US, we have a law in South Africa if you caught talking on your mobile while driving you get a fine.....

    Re: Blackberry While Driving?

I try not to use my bb while i'm driving because ya'll know how dangerous it is.. but it is soo tempting look at it everytime you get a new email or text, sometimes I would even reply while driving. That's why I silence my bb everytime I hit the road now..

They do that sometimes. That's happened to me. They told me that I need to call them back when I get home or when I'm not in the car.

    Re: Blackberry While Driving?

I was replying to an email yesterday morning while driving when I felt my tires hit a curb it scared the s*@t out of me then I looked up and realized it was a curb. So I havent bb while driving that anymore. What the bad part of it is is that when I see people driving and talking on the phone I would say either drive or talk on the phone then I realized I was being a hypocrit doing the same thing.
