Here it is ladies and gents:

Crackberry Kevin got his hands on the new Curve and supposedly a BB made for Pay as you Go? We will see but that new Optical trackball is sexy and I hope they release an updated 8900 with that trackball. Since it is only EDGE and the camera doesn't even have flash I would assume this is going to be a starter BB for the people that want a BB but don't want to spend a nice chunk of change on one. If RIMs going to release a "intro" berry they better make sure it is rock solid in the OS department. There are to many people giving BB a bad name because they are used to buying a phone and it working without flaws. I was in the store a few months back and a woman actually said to me. "I wouldn't own a blackberry, I had friend that someone put a virus on hers, it made it do wired things" lol. This is where RIM needs to make sure they don't pull a Storm or Bold launch with OS that are buggy. I know in the article is say that the os seemed very good for pre prod. device but they've had plenty of ups and downs with 4.6.1 and plenty of time to iron it all out. If its going to be a starter berry leave it on a good stable version of 4.6 and leave 5.0 for the big boys.

I agree. They should leave it on 4.6.1 since they have gotten that right for the most part and put 5.0 on it in a few months

I think they (BGR reported) are looking at a fall 5.0 launch, so hopefully they will stick with 4.6 and make a solid launch.
