    BlackBerry 3G Battle LOL

Looking at articles online, I realize that in about 7 months I will have a real battle on my hands LOL

I have read the specs on the following 3 phones here at http://na.blackberry.com/eng/devices/compare/#

    Bold 9700
    Pearl 3G (aka 9100)
    Curve 3G (aka 9300)

They all look nice and seem to have specs well beyond my current Pearl. Which one should I get with my early upgrade? Let me know which one you all think LOL

well you can add the torch on to that list, it will come down to either 9800 or 9700. I saw the specs on the 9300 and feel that it was great that they added 3g but why downgrade the camera? i mean 2 mps? really!? i say go with the 9700 if 6.0 doesn't appeal to you

Thanks but is your only concern the camera? And I am not switching carriers for the Torch. I do not like that at all.

I already have a digital camera. I am looking in terms of processor, speed, durability, memory, etc.

[QUOTE=EricaJ1073;1269716]I already have a digital camera. I am looking in terms of processor, speed, durability, memory,

They are all the same, not one goes over 624mhz. Duribility seems to be the one here that stands out to me. I want to see how the 9800 holds up, it feels solid, definatlly not cheap like some of the other sliders but not worth $200 with all the other options now a days either. Memory,32 GB if yiu want to pay the money for it. In most cases your looking at 16 max. They are all the same, just get the one that looks and feels the best to you.

Do you have to have a BB? TMO's Samsung Vibrant is powerful with Android to boot. I checked it out in store and it was a very nice device.

Yes it has to be because that's what's been reliable and worked for me in the past.

Do all three have GPS. This would be a decider for me, since I use the navigation a lot due to continually travelling to new cities.

i had the curve 8900 and i now have the 3G curve 9300 and i must admit, the fact that it is 3G makes all the difference. everything is just so much faster and smoother. the only thing i miss from my 8900 is the flash. i used that constantly as a flashlight. other than that i'm pretty happy with the 3G curve as my temporary device till the torch comes to Rogers.
