pda.teck does this trick you do with the bleach and water solution actually get the ball back to a white color or more an translucent color? I am interested in cleaning my trackball, but I do not want to risk messing it up.

And then rise it really good in clean water. you can remove the track ball using

read it carfully, DO not for this type of cleaning take the trackball assembly apart! It is a real pain to get back together.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ ok I just tried the water/bleach trick and can say it doesn't work. Lol. Although the ball looks cleaner, it is far, far from white again. Lol. O well...it was woth a try.

I just tested cleaning my trackball by taking apart the assembly, coloring my ball with a sharpie, and using rubbing alcohol to clean the ball. It looks good as new after a minute or two of cleaning. Maybe alcohol will do some good.

By the way that black pearl joke made me laugh hard enough to get my girlfriends attention downstairs ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
