    BIS Wireless Sync

I would like to see wireless sync on BIS for blackberry.

Since rim is already offering email with bb, they should also offer PIM management and its wireless sync thru bb as well.

I would love to have it synced with outlook but even if I can only access it thru bb website (as was the case accessing email on BIS 1.8) that would also be fine since wireless sync is important.

Already I use my domain on Gmail and accessing it thru web is easier and faster than using Outlook. So now i end up using outlook only for PIM management. I would love a web based alternative.

I would think this would almost negate BES.

If you currently have a domain you can configure outlook/exchange to use a web based console to access it from the web therefore giving you the functionality that you are seeking.

I am looking for the same thing, but do not totally understand what limitations I have. I have, in the past, used a MOTO Q through Verizon, and used the WirelessSync they offered to sync contacts/calendar w/ Outlook. Is this possible at all w/ a Blackberry if I do not have access to a BES? Or must I hard sync it?

    TIA

I'm very happy with www.o-sync.com and SyncJe synchronization for my BIS!
It syncs all, PIM, Calendar, Notes, and Contact.
    Try it!

I'm a little weary of their privacy policy:
    http://www.o-sync.com/Privacy/

"O-Sync may sell or liquidate its assets or its business or may purchase the assets or business of other companies ("business transfers"). In such transactions, user information generally is one of the transferred business assets and therefore O-Sync Users should be aware that such business transfers might occur."

Does this mean they'll also sell your contacts?

Everyone has a Google account. Use it, download Google sync to your BB and sync to Google from phone or vise versa. Also in Google calender you can sync from Google to outlook, problem solved.

    Google Sync doesn't sync contacts.

Your right, it doesn't sync contacts. I was under the impression you wanted to sync your calender, sorry about that. As far as contacts there is no way that I am aware of to sync Outlook contacts OTA. Beside what the other posts are suggesting.

Then, try also www.memotoo.com OTA service with SyncJe.
It's the best, and also you have the option to buy for 10$/year, an SSL certificates.
    Try it...
