BEWARE CELLUNLOCK.NET took 49.99 no working codes, no refunds

took my money via paypal. offered a code that failed to work,
excuses, and no further communications. paypal was unable to
claw the money back from the vendor. thus leaving me out of pocket 49.99
and no unlock code for my blackberry.

    TREAT WITH CAUTION.

Ouch. How come you just didn't go through your carrier? Or are you using a device from a different carrier on your current carrier? I assume a claim was filed. I'd go to the BBB for this.

    Question

So let me get that straight: you paid someone you don't know with PayPal?!
Why not use a credit card (which they take)?

I just learned today, that for ATT all you have to do is log on to your account and click on your phone, and it gives you the code when you click on the link, you dont even have to talk to anyone.
It takes many professionals versed in many different area's to help the masses, I am just a single drop in that pool.

    no uk unlocks

any carrier in the uk that locks their blackberry's only provide an unlock after 1 year of service or
termination of contact is finished 18-24 months. paypal has been of little use. took 2 weeks to decide
i won the dispute and then informed me the seller has no funds to refund me from. great.
    so much for protection.

you can either do this or.....

just contact your carrier tell them you are going to be traveling overseas and would like to be able to use a prepaid sim while overseas. They have to give you the unlock code by law. Ive done this several times.

What exactly are you clicking on, and isn't it only going to give you a PUK code?

On ebay, they run around $10 for most Blackberries. Storm unlock codes were going for $50, last time I checked though.
