    anyone have a blackberry that is not supported by their company? can you just buy data from your carrier and check things like pop3 email?

    Yup plus you can sync via the BIS web client. Up to 10 email accounts.

    hmm sounds good...but i thought cingular charged something like $45/month for blackberry service...

    They do and no SMS are included. If you don't wanna fork the $45 over, you can always use T-mobile. They have great data prices (and phone plans too). I would use T-mobile but I am soo over carrying 2 devices.

    I also converted too many people to cingular and most of my calls are M2M now I am even converting our office cells to Cingular.

    Trust me you can't go wrong with Tmo's data plan. It's the cheapest on the market and with EDGE works like a charm.

    yea im tempted but im sharing minutes with others on cingular...cingular just introduced EDGE is several major metro markets...

    I haven't had a chance to try out cingular's EDGE network. I'm starting to wonder how it compares to Tmobiles.

    I love tmobile prices. I can not imagine changing providers considering what I get for a small price. I pay less for my BB than I did for my sidekick. I do not have BES.
