Try closing all apps running in the background and see if that helps. Also check you device memory, which can be done by going to options\status to see how much you have left. If still doing the pause thing try removing weatherbuy and then play with the phone to see if that was the cause.

As stated above check your device memory. Search the STACK for threads on clearing up unused or unwanted programs. Also clear you daily event log by hitting "alt" lglg and then delete the log, that usually helps. If all else fails try the old batter pull

When I have users complaining about the speed issues such as yours I advise to try the memory cleaner. I know it is for security, but it often does the trick.

    Follow these steps:
    1. Go to Options > Security Options > General Settings.
    2. Set Content Protection to Enabled. - You will get the following message: "To enable content protection the handheld password must be set"
    3. Click Yes,
    4. Press on the Menu button and select Save.
    5. A New Password input dialog will show up.
    6. Enter a new password. - keep it short and easy
    7. Verify the new password by re-entering it.
    8. Go back to the Home Screen.
    9. Click on Options > Security Options.
    10. You will see a new option - Memory Cleaning - Open it
    11. Set the "Show Icon on Home Screen" to Yes.
    12. Go to the home screen and run the Memory Cleaner, the icon looks like a paper shredder.

What does the memory cleaner actually do? Is it worthwhile to install it?

    salvatoretri-

weatherbug gets live content from that weather station you have up. so when you start it then end it instead of close it. it runs in the background getting content live. witch causes all the freezing and jazz that it caused you.

    My 8820 is slow too!!!!!!
i will try the clean stated and see if that works. if not.... find me in a new thread!
