I like to PIN instead of text because I have a 7100i and there is not option to text, you either have to send an MMS or send an email, and the PIN goes through everytime, and fast I might add!

I like the PIN for chatting with other bb users but texting for others who don't have blackberry. I only get 150 outgoing text messages a month with my plan. (US CELLULAR)

BTW, with T-Mobile, it's not about incoming texts or outgoing texts, it's combined. You can get packages of 400 for $4.99/month, 1,000 for $9.99/month, or unlimited for $14.99/month. I think T-Mobile might be the only one that you can get the unlimited on. Please advise if you think I'm wrong...

I use both, as both have uses, as well as email and phone calls.

My BlackBerry co-workers rarely PIN, it's always email.

The only friend I have with a BB always uses SMS for some reason. ??

Rogers has unlimited receive and 2500 send SMS for $10 / month. (Bell and Telus have unlimited send/receive for $10 / month.)

Anything less, you'll always go over, or you're pay-per-SMS.
