    if you go to program files -> Common Files -> Research In Motion -> Shared -> Loader Files -> the OS you are installing or have installed -> Java -> then look for a phone that says net_rim_bb_phone_ptt.mod

    I think that's the file name. Just delete it and call it good.

    Cool, thanks. If I've already installed the OS on my device, do I delete this file and then go into the DM to remove it from the device?

    It's .cod, by the way

    close out DM, delete the file, then restart DM, connect your BB up and go to application loader. it will see a change in system files.
