While I would like to say with great certainty, that RIM will prevail over Apple I cannot. Let's set aside what our opinions are of the iPhone & focus purely on sales & marketing. This is an area where Apple demonstrates great expertise. If RIM was as good as Apple in this area, there is no question in my mind that the BlackBerry would surge ahead. However that is not the case. RIM's marketing efforts are marginal at best. Bottom Line? Only time will tell.

Funny cause I sold more Bolds this week than iPhones since its launch.

But then again I dislike Apple.

Good article, but please point out on your post and headline that these are the standings for North America and not the world. Some people dont read articles and just base their facts on what they see on these forums and then argue for no reason.... I dont remember if it was here or on another forum a while ago that some poeple were arguing wiht me that rim was #1 in the world for smartphone sales, when in reality it was, and still is Nokia.
8900 Curve, IPHONE 3G, SAMSUNG JET, NOKIA E71, BOLD, STORM 9500

My guess is that some iPhone users are converting back to BlackBerry.

I tried the iPhone and I came back.
