How does one go about loading older alerts, ringtones, notifications, etc from 5.0 and older devices?

Had some alerts on my 9700 that aren't on my 9800 and I'd like to get those back.

    Thanks in advance.

    Roger

Hey Roger, I was the same way. I downloaded the old ringtones and notifiers and loaded them on my torch. Do a google search for "Original Bold 9000 Ringtones" and you will find them. I can try and upload them later if need be.

Got 'em! So what did you do, then? Just copy them all into your ringtones folder on the media card?

I'd say either way should work Roger. I remeber doing the same thing with my 9700 when I upgraded from my 8900.
What's the matter? CIA's got you pushing too many pencils?

Yeah, copied them all to my ringtones folder on the media card. 9800 comes with a 4gb, so lots of room.

Yessir. It's pretty cool, C. Could still use some tweaks, but all-in-all, pretty awesome device.

Just keep in mind that if you ever lose the media card or format it all your ringtones will go buhbye as well. (telling you from experience) I once lost my media card and I had to track down all my ringtones I once had in it. Nawt fun at all

I had them on my pc and then it crashed lol...I think it was just fate for me to lose my "I love big butts" ringtone among others

BTW you should check out this website for free ringtones.

Oh, I back everything up to my external hard drive, too. Can't have too many backups.

audiko.net is another good one. You can get full songs as well.
