No but there's a way to not take them - if you don't get any info as to the caller ID, the caller isn't in your address book. Just don't answer it. I do it all the time!

You can use Blacklist/Whitelist software, which you can get HERE. That will allow you to reject any calls that are not in your Whitelist, etc.

What about texts? Can you block them from certain people who annoy you with multiple stupid texts? Ha. Like so you just don't get them? It would be nice.

I guess I don't understand. The best blacklist/whitelist software is right between your ears. If the phone rings you don't have to answer. Look at the screen and press ignore instead of accept if you don't recognize the number or simply don't want to talk.
That is what voicemail is for.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~You can set an exception under profiles. List specific numbers or unknown numbers to use the Quiet profile. The calls still show in messages but don't ring thru.

In OS 4.5 under Options --> Security Options --> Firewall, you can block incoming messages either globally (block ALL MMS messages), or use an exception list and/or all entries in the Address Book.

Wait how do you do the exception list? Is it in the firewall settings?

Yup, hence the direction to go to the Firewall settings in your BB. Again though, this is only applicable in 4.5 OS.

I created a do not disturb profile and turned on do not disturb under phone options. Then I checked the people that I wanted to call under exceptions. I called my phone from another phone and it gave a short ring and went to voicemail. When I called again and blocked the number, I got a fast busy signal. So I wouldn't pay for it. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
