I found this article about getting rid of the system access fee I found it hard to understand. I know that it’s not final but how long will it take for a bill to usually http://www.cbc.ca/technology/story/2...-mcguinty.html

Does anyone have any type of input they could share?

Dont' vote stupid, it covers cost's of towers and the rest, its better then getting hit with gov fees on top of it, like in the States u get killed with state, fed, and other bs gov fees...lol i will pay the 7.70, its worth it to me...better then 20% in bs

Heh, the companies make a lot of money from the contracts here as they ususally are 3 years. So I don't hink that the access fees will effect the companies a lot. But yet again, in US there are far more clients due to population density, so aceess fee could be removed witth next to no damage to the towers and the upgrade progress.

I don't know that it would hurt them, but then they are going to raise rates even more, if they keep the SAF then they can make cheeper rates for the consumer base. not enuff ppl in canada yet to take it out of the mix, maybe if BCE would have sold them self's to Telus, then the Future would be friendly....I mean we only have like 4.5million subscribers....that's Atlanta alone!!!!
