I am thinking about upgradeing my sd card to an 8GB. Does anyone know if OS DM 4.2.2.14 and Handheld 4.2.1.107 (both of which is the latest) will support it? Thanks in advance for your help!

    Re: 8GB card

I haven't heard of anyone getting an 8 gb card to work. I know people have had many problems with 6 gb. I've heard an upcoming version of the OS will allow larger cards to be used, but I don't know the details.

That is kind of what I thought. Probably will just wait until the 16GB card comes and in June and the OS will be able to support it. Thanks!

you're welcome. in the meantime you could pick up an inexpensive card that has less capacity.

Thats OK, I have a 4GB now, still don't know how I filled that one up already. Maybe a deletion or two is in order. Thanks!

The only way I got my 6 GB card to work is by using the SDHC card reader that came with it. If I use mass storage mode it wants to format it. It's a PITA trying to put anything in it since I have to pull the battery then put it in the card reader.

If I format it in card reader, mine says it has 8GB but only formats to 4 if I format in Curve 8130 (4.2.2) I've not filled it past that yet.
