    8800 series and curve suck????

Well both are great devices as it comes to features, but the keyboards suck bad. I used 8800 it was terrible, i used cuve, a little better, still bad. Is it just me or 8700 kave the best keyboard for full qwerty, and pearl for shuretype. It might take time to get used to new device's keypads, i actually was gonna purchase a curve today, but after playing with it, full functional, i was scared off. Bescides, the september models are hopefully better.

well, i agree with you on the 8800 - those were kind of oddly shaped with the raised edge. but i really do like the curve keys. i thought they would be hard to get used to as well, but didn't really take any time

I just think its practice, I type long winded emails on a 7250 and have gone to the 8830, no problem here.

I like the keyboard on the Curve. The slight separation is really helpful and I don't have small fingers either.

It was really easy getting used to the keyboard on the 8800 after using the 8700. I really thought that I wasn't going to like the 8800 at first because of the keyboard.

Personally, I think the 7290 had the most comfortable QWERTY. IMHO.

the buttons on my 8800 is still weird considering I've had it a lil' over a month. I still like the buttons on the 8700.

Keyboard preferences are just that -- personal preferences. It's not just you but people have preferences all across the board. Some prefer the 72xx keyboard, some prefer the 87xx, some prefer the 71xx, some prefer the 81xx, some prefer the 88xx, some prefer the 83xx...

I think it is just a preference too. I own the 8800 and I love the keyboard it is quite easy for me to use and I have long nails and type emails and sms very quickly and accurate. Oh for the long nails I am in the beauty business. lol

Re: 8800 series and curve suck????

Personally, I love the Curve keyboard. So much that I sold my Pearl and got a Curve. I came from the sidekick, so a comfortable keyboard was a must for me. The Curve's keyboard isn't as comfortable as the Sidekick 3's (I don't think any phone has a better one), but it works VERY well for me, and I don't have skinny fingers either!

    To each his own. (:

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i don't know what you guys are on about - the 8800 is so much easier to type on. Yes, the physical keys are slightly more spaced out but the 8700 is so thick to hold!!
