    8130 Time Change when connected to computer

    Advertisement

    I all;
    I have an 8130 on Telus. When i schedule something on the blackberry and connect it to the computer to sync it changes the times of appointments by 1hr. Both my mac and my blackberry are in the correct time zone. I'm assuming it has something to do with DST but i can't find the option on my bb. Any suggestions b/c this is getting to be a pain.

    Cheers.

    Double Click the day and time on your computer task bar.

    Enable DST on that.

    OR, the best thing:

    Open Desktop Manager
    Double click Synchronize
    Uncheck the box that says "Update Device Date and Time".

    Gotcha.

    I don't see an option here in PocketMac to keep it from updating the time.

    Are you sure that your MAC is set for DST? An 8130 shouldn't need a patch.

    I am not sure though how to check DST on a Mac. I clicked on the clock but don't see any options.

    The 8130 does not require a DST patch.
