    8100 vs. 8700/8800

    Hey all,
Just recently got the 8100 as a gift. Upgrade from my 7105. I am not too happy w/ the 8100 and I am returning it. The added "coolness" of the new features doesn't do me justice for aps such as VNC or Remote Desktop. But I do have a pressing question, should I upgrade to an 8700 or wait for the "Gamma" line? I really do want a new device, upgraded processor, and Edge. So is the 8700 a huge upgrade from the 7105, and if I would have to buy the "business" version of the new 8800, is that worth waiting for. Give me your experienced suggestions, have to return the Pearl today.

EDGE, screen and full qwerty (for me -- YMMV) are big pluses in favor of the 8700. I've never attempted VNC or Remote Desktop on a BB but I can't imagine that it would really be worthwhile.

Actually that Ikodorro Mobile is awesome, when you move up to that Intel Processor, you can zoom out and view the entire desktop at once, pretty nice to check up on backups and virus scans on our network, I got pretty used to it on the 7105, but on an 8700 it's gotta rock. Thanks, I'm going to get the 8700 now, hopefully the Gamma doesn't blow this one away...
