    5MB Download Limit (Work Around)

The secret to getting around the “Entity Too Large” message is to paste or type the download URL directly into the browser. If you click the links on a webpage in the browser to download a file over 5MB it will say entity too large. Take that same URL and paste it into your browser address bar and it will ask you to open or save. Select save and choose folder on sd card and download begins. It’s worked every time for me.

To find out a download links URL, just highlight the link. And press the blackberry button select link address and then copy address. Paste the address into the Browser address bar and press the trackball. It worked for me now you give it a try! I've downloaded full songs and MP3 Podcasts on my BB using these steps.

Good thing about this is you can download in the background while doing other things on BB. I'm downloading Blackberry Cool Podcast and chatting on BB Messenger and reading emails. The download is still going on in the background.

    Thank you for the tip!

On a related note when I'm reading an email and it contains a URL I find it smoother not to click it directly but to Copy it, get to the browser and paste it into its GoTo... option. Clicking it directly would on occasion interfere with what I was doing with the browser. It shouldn't, but it did.

I couldn't get it to work and was very disappointed. I tried over and over again. Ended up downloading videos on pc and transferring to my SD Card. I think they're working on making the site more Mobile or Blackberry Friendly!

I tried a podcast from NPR to test.
    http://podcastdownload.npr.org/anon....10316.mp3?dl=1

didn't work, I got the 413 error for large file.
I noticed the "?dl=1" at the end of the address, so I removed that and tried again

    IT wOrKed

Downloaded an 8min podcast lightning fast!!!!!!!!!
So I am guessing just make sure the end of the URL ends with ".MP3"

Be warned, the link I tried is about the iPhone, lol, didn't realize until i listened to it
