This app works like a charm! The only glitch/bug I found was when I tried to use the quick DVD convert the app couldn't get past the encryption on the DVD. TO work around this I used DVDdecryptor to load the DVD onto my hard drive once this was done I just clicked on the quick DVD convert button again and viola!

On Seabyrd's website they say they are continuing to develop the direct DVD convert so maybe with the next release I won't have to do the DVDdecryptor step.

Me too!! I was looking for an easy way to convert my DVD collection to use on my BB. All the other posts people have made about what they did to get video on their BB seemed so involved.

This app essentially makes getting a video on your BBP as easy as 3 clicks:

1. click DVDdecryptor
2. click BBP Video Converter
3. load onto BBP using desktop manager

I gave this a try a few days ago and I noticed the quality was a bit more grainy when I convert so I think I'm gonna stick to what I've been using for now.

whta have you been using? I might try it.

I've been using DVDmobile, excellent quality (but I have to pay). the Super C is ok, but grainy.

is there an app that converts other video files like divx/xvid into a format that the BB:P supports?

Three questions:
1) What are you using?
2) Is it "one click" easy?
3) Was it freeware?

Please let us know. I am always looking for better quality but have to say free and easy to use outweigh a fraction better quality in my book. (I mean how big of a difference can you really tell on a 2.5 inch screen?)
