| Re: Trackball Cleaning and Disassembly w/ PICTURES
I had reached the point where the hard reset was not working, and I wanted to avoid taking apart the ring/trackball assembly. Tmobile service suggested first blowing with compressed air, then placing the unit face down on a table and rolling the ball around several times, and repeating the process four or five times. So far, fingers crossed, seems to have worked. Bill

Good luck with that Bill. But I would suggest if you're keeping it in your pocket without a case to cover the trackball it will eventually happened again so I would get a case. Just from my experience. If you have issues you know where to come. |

Excellent post. My trackball stopped rolling left about a week ago and there arent any service centers in my area. Then this morning it stopped scrolling up. I was in panic mode. The detailed instructions were very easy to follow and I had my trackball back fully operational in 10 min. Thanks again!!!

I am unable to view the pictures of your assembly. I made the mistake of taking it apart and now can't get the final silver piece back in... Any hints on how to view the pics?
