Themes & Trackball Color changer for 8120

Are any of these possible for the Tmobile Pearl 8120?? Pls let me know. I love my gadget and would like to spruce it up a bit. Also, what all can this little baby do? =) I'm new to BB so any pointers would be nice!

Welcome to Pinstack! I don't know much about themes, but I do know that you unfortunately can't change the trackball color on the 8120. For some reason, RIM put multi-colored LEDs behind the ball ONLY on the original Pearl 8100. I'm sure a little snooping around on the forums will yield a ton of themes to spruce up your new bb.

all i see is themes for an 8100...... well its says 81xx......sooo can a "20" fit into those xx's?? I just got this phone and do not want to mess it up lol

Yes themes for 81xx are for 8100 8110 8120 8130

You just need to make sure it is meant for your OS version. For example a theme meant for 4.5 won't work if your OS is 4.2. Just make sure you read the theme description and make sure.

Triing to play you tube videos on 8120 is that possible?

Yes it is possible, but you'll need to upgrade your OS to 4.5. As the T-Mobile 8120 ships with 4.3. The first thread in this forum has a list of the newest versions and instructions on how to do this. The carrier doesn't matter in this regard, just that it is for the model of your phone.

I would not try it unless your are out of warranty or just don't care that it voids your warranty(if you have one). They have some awesome colors!
