The Pearl and Cingular?

When will Cingular be rolling out the Pearl? I hear early Nov to as late as first quarter 2007. Any firm dates?

What will be the differences between the T-Mobile and the Cingular model? I read somewhere that Cingular will have push to talk or something. What is that?

well the only answer I have to all those questions is, what is Push To Talk (PTT) it's like a walkie-talkie Nextel feature

Is that a good feature? As long as you have a choise between that and the regular talk feature, I can handle it.

Pearl Released on T-Mobile 9/12.

T-Mobile had 90 day United States exclusive.

Soooooo, look for the Pearl for other carriers around 12/11.

That is of course, unless Cingular wants to pay a boat load of $$$ to TMobile to drop the rights.

Isn't it a 60-90 day exclusive? That can make a difference.

90 days is the norm, but depending on how much TMO wanted to put into the RIM coffers it could be either longer or shorter. Cingular had the 90 day exclusive on the 8700. I can't remember if there was an exclusive on the 7130. Was there one?
