doesnt Itunes encode all their files, into a protected format? Like my mp3s that i get from itunes are m4p. What I had to do was convert it from the protected format to a basic wav then from wav back to mp3. Wondering if you have to do the same for video. Convert out of the unprotected mode, then convert to a format/size supported by the pearl.
(if thats what you were asking!)

Friend gave me a copy of "Smart WAV to MP3 Converter" good program. This one cost money but there are tons of freeware ones available. Im sure you can get some good ones on Google/cNETdownload as well.

It has been said that the pearl hardware may be capable of video recording since the 8800 will have this capability, maybe in a future OS upgrade guess we will wait and see

Question Re: The Original: Video encoding for the 8100

I think this link to download the SUPER app for video encoding is down. Does anyone have this app and can you please send it to me or tell me how to get this download link to work. I cant seem to get it to download anything. I keep clicking on the links that say "Download SUPER now" and still nothing.

What going on??
Thanks for all your help.
