Yes. Go to the home screen. Access the address book. Click on new address and save it. You can do this while on the phone.

the phone notes are viewable when you back into the call log, and highlight your call and choose view history. they will show up there. In memo pad, all you have to do is save the notes by hitting the menu key and pressing save. be sure to give your notes a title, or it won't save them.

Can anyone tell if you can view emails in HTML format on the blackberry. I just set my account up last night for the first time, and my Yahoo emails are coming in fine. However, they are loaded with strings of code, instead of the visuals you usually get with them. When I go to a browser page, however, I see everything fine.

So, I know the device has the capability to do it. Is there some setting I have to change to view the emails correctly?

Thanks.

Dave
you can't view them like you do on the browser. They will always be in html, unless you set your email prefs to text only. that's the only way to be rid of the html email.

Perfect found it thanks... wish it showed a little note icon without going into the actual history!

Re: shortcuts/ Tips for the BlackBerry Pearl 8100

Can anyone please help me with getting my Pearl to recognize a 2.0 GB media card? Also will the 8800 be able to take a 2.0GB card when available with T-mobile?

Re: shortcuts/ Tips for the BlackBerry Pearl 8100

inou297, What OS is on your Pearl, If it is still 4.2.0.42, you will need to update it to a later version. Do you need help in that? If so then, Check out the revelavant links on the BB FAQ & Guides page for where to get the latest OS for your carrier/device and how to update it. The specific ones you will want are Blackberry OS Software links (by carrier) and How to: OS 4.x Upgrade for your Blackberry.

to not have to FFD or RWD by 3-5 minutes, although I think it's based on the total length of the movie... like 5% or something, select the slider bar and make it blue, then instead of just rolling left/right, hold the shift key while rolling left right. it lets you move by the second, maybe 10 secs a roll.

Hope this helps,

Chris

I could certainly use any helpful tips on this one as I have found no useful information on how to use the MP3 player on the 8100
